#4 - ๐ŸŒŒ Stargazing

โ€œAlways aim for the Moon. Even if you miss it, you'll land among the starsโ€ - Clement Stone

Inspired by a galaxy of stars, Stargazing was born in the chaos of a mind full of thoughts on a night without sleep. Insomnia has always been part of my life, periodically I am not able to sleep more than a few hours per night. At times I enjoy being awake, being active, being part of the people of the night, the creative ones.

The night is a moment of inspiration, when everything is dark, when all the rest of the world sleeps, where all around you is quiet and silent, but even in the loud of a party night, the constellation of ideas pops up like shooting stars. Your imagination can bring you anywhere. From the hell of bad and fearful thoughts into empowering and dreaming places that envision yourself in achieving your biggest dreams.

How to channel the mind where you want to go? How to not feel tired after a restless day? The universe is bringing you answers whenever you look at them. But you need to search for them, to be awake. To look at the stars. Train your mind to see beauty in everything and be connected to your heart. Whatever happens to your life, in your universe, be sure to say yes instead of no.

The term universe refers to that life plan that is never following what we have in mind, the โ€œforceโ€ operating on its own that interferes with our picture of how we would like things to be. Things where we have little or no control. So often when we are set in a certain direction, an unexpected event changes everything. Just like a star explosion. Saying yes to the universe means opening up to the millions of possibilities that our universe offers us in ever-changing ways to see your world and your life.

There is an explosion of emotions and perceptions expressed also in the painting. All the possibilities around us are expressed with lots of little and colorful points. Pain is part of life and by saying yes to the universe we are accepting that emotions and changes can hurt, and cut like broken glass, that is why it has been added to the canvas, to make some play with the sunlight and make the painting cut to the touch. After all, arenโ€™t the stars made of glass themself? There is an extremely fine stardust done with the splinters of the glass and attached to the fresh acrylic, that recreates the effect of a star explosion on the black background.

The dark sky can inspire you and make you feel part of something bigger if you zoom out from the details and see the overall picture. The purpose for you is to get lost in the unknown, make your progress following your intuition, and aim big. Who knows where you going to land, even if you miss your initial target, you might find yourself aiming for a bigger one, playing among the stars.
