“Throughout my lifetime, I've left pieces of my heart here and there. And now, there's almost not enough to stay alive. But I force a smile, knowing that my ambition far exceeded my talent” - Blow
Ever since I was a kid, I have had this feeling of having more emotions than others, feeling to a different level, and often not having the ability to express these emotions in words. To be understood. I think I have a big heart as I tend to say to my friends.
One of the things that inspires me the most is nature. The sea and the sky, especially at sunrise or sunset, often make me wonder and feel a deep connection with this world. The idea of Mucho Más came from a sea that mixes with the colors of a red sky at sunset.
There is the expression of non-duality, that I was reading in a book at the time, where you can be two opposites depending on the situation. Red and blue, warm and cold, liquid and airy, solid and fluid.. instead of this or that.
The painting is the explosion of a heart, of feelings, of strong emotions, that characterized my life for the people and places I loved.
It contains both positive and negative feelings, the ones that make you feel alive, happy and powerful, but also suffer and bleed.
