Since childhood, I have carried the feeling of sensing more than most—of experiencing emotions with greater intensity, yet often lacking the words to express them. I’ve always said I have a big heart. This painting was born from that heart.

Nature has always been my greatest source of inspiration. The sea and the sky—especially at sunrise and sunset—move me deeply. In those moments, I feel both small and infinite, profoundly connected to the world. Mucho Más emerged from the image of the sea dissolving into the colors of a red sky at sunset.

At the time, I was reading about non-duality—the idea that opposites can coexist, that we are not bound to “this or that,” but often exist as “this and that.” Red and blue. Warm and cold. Liquid and air. Solid and fluid. This painting lives in that space between contrasts.

Mucho Más is the eruption of a heart in motion—an outpouring of feelings and contradictions that have shaped my life through the people and places I have loved. It holds both light and shadow: joy, power, and vitality, but also pain, vulnerability, and bleeding. Because all of it, together, is what makes us feel truly alive.
